Proof in the Pudding?

So seldom do we receive validation for our efforts...could I actually be desperate enough to fall for an expert author sticker and a flashy pin! You bet I am. I have to admit, makes it a little more fun when the carrots dangling are colorful and motivating! I am now moving onto to contests and postings with purpose.  Maybe i can get so busy with this writing thing that my other addictions will fall by the way-side!
