Skin cracks
as elasticity gives in
to pressure

A lit fuse
burning at both ends
will eventually
ignite

Spewing forth
nothing more
than the aroma
of a big bang

What could have been
had care been taken...

to preserve

the essence of NOW.

def dont stretch yourself too thin...that does you no good...on many levels..plus the big bang is usually a mess...

So many neat phrases here. Stretching, attached yet disconnected, skin cracks as elasticity gives in, lit fuse will eventually ignite, aroma of a big bang…really love these... Then you get down to business with prevailing theme of could've beens, accountability and preservation. Lots packed in here. Great job. Thanks
