Gooddoers Vocab ~ #Poetics @dVersePoets

It's a boomdazzle and a pull out
quick before we're caught!
It's a dorazzle on a gumdrop
red bobble-lights have sought

out new and inventive
ways to up and die
the shoulcoulwoulds
should have said good bye

Streamlined dreaming on a pulsified pillow
festering, gestering, under limbs of stunted willow

The wells dried up a'int nothing more than crud
boogery and blasphemy won't bring down any floods

It's the book of revelations
and our lack of true salvation
when we don't got words to read

It's riled up discrimination
big words like festeration
that make us up and bleed

Still we fight the good fight
gooddoers that we are
most of those who been educated
are left with only scars.

It's Poetics at dVersePoets today, and Anna Montgomery of Chromatopia is treating us to some serious word play.  You're welcome to join in...but for the love of all that is good and pure...leave spell check at home! ;)

I think many of us are haunted by shoulcoulwoulds (I like your word); and as far as revelations it's a book I really don't understand. I think we all 'fight the good fight' as best we can.

This is awesome Tash, the to and fro sway has incredible energy. Great smashups, especially shoulcoulwoulds as I know those only too well. I've got lots of scars :).

pulsified pillow made me think of pussified pillow (now, would that mean the feline slept on it or....) ;)

Hiya,
Your jolly choice of words belies the dark topics. I was lulled into fun and games but then forcefully woken up.
