Lady in Red ~ #SundaySnapShot @NWCreativeUnion

This week at The New World Creative Union's Sunday Snap Shot, Leslie Moon treats us to a wonderful slide show from George Winston. His "Autumn Medley" is included below.

Winter holds his frigid breath
as fiery Autumn rises.
Seldom does a lady
get to wear red like this.
When it is celebrated
rather than frowned upon.
Even old man winter
simply waltzes the sidelines
knowing all too soon
she'll be gone.

smiles...i love your personification of the seasons....the red dress...the dancing....made me smile tash...figure if this storm is anything like what they are saying, autumn will lose that dress pretty quick...waiting to see....

Wonderful image of Autumn! But, o;d man Winter isn't waltzing here, he's doing the 'cha cha cha.' Cold winds are blowing pretty darn good here...and even the lakes are getting a bit wild...and the Lady in Red has danced away from here!

Kudos as always Natasha!

Beautiful!! Women should always be able to wear red...Lady Fall could teach us a thing or too. :)

I love her more with every passing year, and miss her equally so when she's gone.

Thanks for putting together such a beautiful homage (oooh, I was finally able to use "homage!") for her.

ooon natasha, those first two lines grabbed me. there's a sweet ballad in that bit of poesy. winter holds his frigid breath /as fiery autum rises / seldom does a lady dress / in such colored sweet surprises :) I just love your natural flow and feel :)
