Waxing Wisdom

If I choose to use this magic
to help you balance invisible scales
can you guarantee
the perception of your counter weight
has not been altered.

She watches all you know
waxing, waning
controlling the pull of the tides
and all who walked erect from her sea
I'll believe your story
but it is her decision to remove your veil.

Eyes wide and awake
caught in the glare of her silver crescent
are you prepared to believe?
How many rituals
How many idols
before you realize
her magic is born in you?

Will you shout it to the heavens
upon this revelation of her truth?
Will your mighty ego rise
swallowing the spirit we worked to hard to reveal.
Can you know your power
without coming to abuse it.
The universal law of three

It comes back you know, always
be it white, black, gray
It always has
throughout every shift in thinking
every movement in culture
She has witnessed all

and in her all knowing
the scales cannot help
but balance

What a nice surprise for our NWCU WWUC Natasha! Love the poem, video and how you wove the components into your composition!

Especially liked your ending, "and in her all knowing
the scales cannot help
but balance."

Kudos and applause, as always Natasha!

Bravo, my dear! I'll have to come back and try the video again. It doesn't work for me right now (too many viewing at once).

OK... was able to view right after comment. Good job... you're much braver than I am (love your hair, btw).

This jumped out both times:

her magic is born in you

Ah beautiful Tash, what a treat to see and hear you bring your composition to life. I also especially liked the end and the symbols you employed.

"Can you know your power

That's the big question because it is available and use it we must. She is waiting.
I loved this - especially your reading of this! More more!

Fantastic. You really found some serious inspiration. Doing the video, Love it. It's addictive though, watch out. At least it was for me, did the first and now I have to fight the urge to do all of them. A real treat Tash. Thanks

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
