Well you hit a heartbeat with this one Natasha...I have been a Lightfoot follower since the 70's....saw him perform in CA about 15 years ago...I never get tired of his music and as far as a storyteller and song writer...He is Canada's Gem....thank you for the greatest of memories....bkm

Oh. My. Gosh.
How totally COOL to click over from Brian Miller's and read in your Profile you're in Stewiake!

My husband and I have a house in Mahone Bay that is rented out. He's from N.S. Me from N.B. But we live in Austin, Texas and have for quite a while.

Stewiake -- halfway between the North Pole and the Equator! ;)

Oh, and I have LOVED Lightfoot for many many many moons.

Oh, this is so much fun!!!

I love that song! It was in the jukebox where I used to bartend and we played it quite a bit. I haven't heard it in a while. :)

Guess you could say I'm a nostaligic old soul! Love Gordon Lightfoot and think he's, like bkm said, the true Canadian gem. Thanks all for having a listen...hopefully I've inspired you to break out the vinyl :)
