Photo~ Tracey Grumbach To simply slip into the drink gives time to pause and time to think while waves caress your tired toes the white caps cause worries to sink To lose yourself in dusk's high tide where dreams and hopes start to collide with wishes and heart's true longing It's where the truth of you resides The sound of freedom in gulls lone cry a silhouette against darkening sky Where clouds tell stories and shadows dance to melodies that make you sigh. It's sand now cooling with no sun to bury the fears that make you run where castles crumble at end of day and whispers what you may have become Truth on the wind upon the shore this blanket of sand, a goddess floor Where all you are can finally soar washed in the tide, returning pure.
Master Word Weaver Brian Miller is bringing the wonderful photography of Tracey Grumbach to the pub today. I dare say, her work might just tickle your muse! Join us at dVersePoets Pub for a long weekend afternoon of Poetry! Also fulfilling my NaPoWriMo obligations with this pen. A poem a day for 30 days in celebration of National Poetry Month.

As it is, the poem has that loving kindness and tender song that creates the space of human relationship, bringng us closer to those we love. Your craft is especially apparent, as hedgewitch notes, in how wonderfully you've handled the form.
Lovely writing once again Tash
Thank you so much for using my image for inspiration. It was quite an honor. :)
